It all started with a series of 3am false alarms. We were frustrated with smoke alarms that couldn't tell what's fire from what's not, and we quickly realized that we weren't alone.
Smoke alarms miss 28% of fatal fires and have an up to 89% false alarm rate. Far too often, they go off when there isn't fire and don't when there is. We set out to do something about that.
Phare C1 is the result. It uses an array of advanced sensors to detect fires earlier and eliminate false alarms. It learns and improves over time to make your home even safer in a decade than it is on the day you install it. And, with features like air quality monitoring, night path lighting, and presence detection, it's much more than just a smoke alarm.
The C1 is the product of years of obsessive R&D, all in service of building a product that looks, feels, and acts like something you can trust.
